Much of the overflow is caused by combined sanitary and storm water in sewer systems, which are prone to floods during storms. Many big cities are facing the issue, which require implementing a unique solution to monitor the rain water level in the sewer system to prevent unnecessary spills. |

Solution |
Kepro solution use ZigBee/GPRS network to monitor the water level. Wireless sensors collect and transmit water level data to central management center via ZigBee mesh/GPRS network. During a storm, sensors detect high water levels and calculate amount of available sewer storage space. The management center will send a command signal to pumps and gates to prevent overflows and maximize conveyance capacity. The real-time sensor information is collected wirelessly for monitoring, results in the efficiently store of sewage and rainwater. |
